XMTrading's monthly Top Trader Showdown is open to anyone with an active Standard account. Simply maintain at least $200 (or equivalent) in usable margin and register for the competition through your XM Members Area.

Rankings in the XM Top Trader Showdown are determined based on the performance of all competitors. The top 50 traders will share a total prize pool of $40,000, with the first-place winner receiving a withdrawable prize of $5,000.

Performance, which determines the rankings, is calculated as: (Current Equity - Initial Equity + W - D) / (Initial Equity + D).

(*1) Current Equity: Equity measured at each evaluation (typically every 10 minutes)

(*2) Initial Equity: Equity at the time of entry into the competition

(*3) D: Total deposits made after entering the competition (during the competition period)

(*4) W: Total withdrawals made after entering the competition (during the competition period)

XMTrading's Weekly Demo Tournament (held every two weeks) is a demo trading competition using virtual funds, open to anyone with an active real account. Register through your XM Members Area to receive an MT5 demo account with a $1,000 balance, accessible from the start of the competition.

Rankings in the XM Weekly Demo Tournament are determined based on the performance of all competitors. The top 50 traders will share a total prize pool of $20,000, with the first-place winner receiving a withdrawable prize of $2,500.

CAUTIONS

Key notes for XM trading competitions

Before joining trading competitions at XMTrading, please review these important points.

Participants who register for a competition but have no trading history will appear in the rankings but are not eligible for prizes.
Ensure your account has at least $200 (or equivalent) in usable margin before entering the competition.
Only traders with active Standard accounts are eligible for the Top Trader Showdown. Traders with other account types cannot participate.
In the Weekly Demo Tournament, a demo account with a $1,000 balance is automatically created. The balance cannot be added to or reset.
You may join multiple competitions using different accounts, but each account can only participate in one competition at a time.
